西西里，地中海的阳光，沙滩，大海，小镇，教堂，Etna火山。

去过很多次西西里岛了。第一次是飞Palermo，再火车到Agrigento，那有目前保护最好的古希腊神庙建筑群。这次是飞Catania，在西西里岛东岸，坐海边小火车，到Taormina和Siracusa西西里中国游客不多。对西西里或许因为一部电影《西西里的美丽传说》，女主角玛莲娜的美，小镇的美景，印象深刻。

意大利南部人更接地气，西西里更是以农业为主。这里的西西里tarocco血橙，最好的品牌Rosaria，产区在艾特纳火山脚下。火山喷发带出的微量元素，丰富了这里的土壤，加上早晚温差大，才产出这么美味的西西里血橙。草莓也是，街边就有卡车拉着一车的草莓，5欧元一大筐，新鲜，甜美。每晚鱼市边的海鲜大餐，量大，价格实在。

Taormina是半山腰上的小镇，有一条主街连着各个小路，台阶上上下下。有很多美国游客。很多小景。走到一个开阔的平台看出去，就是湛蓝的地中海。再坐车继续上山到另一个小镇Castelmola，一个悬崖酒店，开窗就看到Etna火山。可以在Taomina住一晚，Castelmola住一晚。

Taorimina有个古希腊剧院，对着海，能拍到背景是海岸线。还有个免费的公园Giardino Comunale，立面有些老建筑，和热带的大植物，还有看海的平台，很适合拍照。

Taorimina汽车站坐bus下山到Giardini火车站，我们是走下来的。
Taormina火车到Siracusa两小时，火车站就在海边，很漂亮。火车沿西西里岛东岸行驶，看到海景，和别墅小镇，还有结着果实的橙子树林。

Siracusa的主广场，是《西西里美丽传说》的取景地。
Siracusa的老城部分是Ortigia半岛，半岛不大。我们住在离广场50米的一个小公寓。西西里的住宿都不贵，一晚60欧。白天人很多。半岛沿岸是地中海，和出海的yart，还有钓鱼的人。

Taormina更像是一个旅游度假小镇。Siracusa更加生活化。除了旅游景点，还有城市居民区，所以会有路边的卡车卖新鲜便宜的草莓。有非常多的海鲜餐厅，价格合理。在西西里不想吃正餐也能填饱肚子，Arancino炸肉酱米团，还有之前在Palermo街边的猪肚包小摊。

已经开始期待再回西西里了。下一次要去土耳其台阶，自驾。

We have done a photo session in Dolomiti. This time we flied to an island in south Italy– Sicilia!

I missed Sicily, the sunshine, the sea, the flowers at the side of the country road, and the passionate and friendly people.

We walked around the small town of Taormina.

We went to the Isola Bella at the beach.

Cathy is very sweet and a little bit shy. She contacted me two months before the shooting dates.  We had a half day shooting in Rome and another half day shooting in Florence. Cathy told me that the reason she didn’t choose Venice for a destination is that, there is a big casino building named Venice, which is very similar to the city of Venice 🙂 We had a good time together.
